Terms of Use

Online Purchases
If you are ready to proceed, email or phone and we will send a formal ‘Request to Purchase’ form. When you commit to the purchase, nominate your method of payment and confirm your delivery details. In the case that a diamond shall be ordered, a deposit of 30% is required. If the item is in stock and ready for shipment, the full purchase amount will be required prior to shipping. All purchases are subject to availability of stock.

Any email correspondence will be replied to within 24 hours.

Terms of Trade
The diamond price is  fixed only when a deposit has secured the diamond, and may be subject to change thereafter.

Delivery of purchases within Australia, to metropolitan areas is free. Additional charges apply for rural areas and overseas territories.

Payment options and confirmation of purchase
Our preferred payment option is Netbank transfer or direct bank transfer to our National Australia Bank account. Allow overnight for the transaction to appear in our account. Alternatively, you may pay by VISA, or Mastercard (add 1% administration charge) or by AMEX (add 2% administration charge) or by bank cheque. All personal or business cheques must allow 5 working days for funds to clear before goods can be released. This method of payment must be arranged with Eternal Diamond prior to collection of the merchadise.

The diamond is considered to have been purchased only after confirmation of deposit of funds to our account by direct transfer, bank cheque, or credit card transaction approval.

In the event that a diamond is based in an overseas office, Eternal Diamond requires 24 – 48 hours to confirm the availability of the stone. If the diamond has been sold prior to updating the stock list, the options will be to refund the deposit or Eternal Diamond may be given extra time to source an equivalent diamond at the same price if available. If another stone is not available, a full refund will be given.

If a stone has been confirmed and a deposit of 30% is paid, Eternal Diamond will not refund the money due to change of mind, however, the order can be exchanged for another item to the value of the original  amount.

Please fax back to Eternal Diamond Sales Dept along with a copy of the signature side of credit card and driver’s license. This goes to a private and secure fax.

Refunds and Guarantee
Your money will be refunded if the  diamond is not available due to time differences with overseas offices. If you wish, we will find a suitable replacement. We inspect every diamond before it is shipped to you. We offer a 14 day exchange guarantee if you are not entirely satisfied with your diamond purchase. The exchange is limited to diamonds purchased but not sighted. For obvious reasons, custom made jewellery is excluded from this policy. Where goods are exchanged with GIA, HRD, IGI, EGL (Eternal Diamond Brand) certified diamonds, authenticity shall first be verified by the original laboratory documentation before final settlement. Verifications of any returned item can take up to thirty days to process as international laboratories are located abroad. If the stone is not required to be sent back to the original laboratory, a seven day process time frame is still required.

The diamond/s returned must be accompanied by the original matching and/or identifying certificate(s). Returns not accompanied by all of their original documentation will not be honored. All diamonds must be in new condition without having been altered in any way. Eternal Diamond will exchange the purchase price of the diamond returned within the time frame and manner specified above, less original shipping costs.

NOTE: You must obtain a ‘ Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) ‘ code from Eternal Diamond before returning diamonds. We will not accept any returns without a RMA. The RMA number must be clearly written on your original invoice and on the return shipping label before returning  Eternal Diamond. Any diamonds returned without an RMA will be refused. Life Time Upgrade Policy

Eternal Diamond offers a lifetime upgrade policy on stones which are branded with the Eternal Diamond Logo. Policies are available for diamonds greater than 0.50ct ( please refer to http://www.eternaldiamond.com )

You may upgrade the diamond purchased from Eternal Diamond at any time during your lifetime. For further information regarding upgrading please contact one of our staff for more details.

Delivery
Allow 15 working days for delivery of diamond ( Notwithstanding any delays from customs and/or Government agencies ). We will contact you to make arrangements for you to collect or you will be notified of courier dispatch and you can track your delivery over the internet.

A privacy policy is your guarantee that any personal information given to Eternal Diamond will remain private. Any personal information gathered will never be sold to any third party for any reason. Eternal Diamond only collects personal information from customers in order to process billing and fulfill orders. Eternal Diamond is committed to keeping your personal information private.
